Information design

Worked with Engineers Australia's policy team to translate technical research, government submissions and industry reports into clear, accessible publications. Each document balances complex content with strong information hierarchy, editorial design and readability for a broad audience.

My role included:

  • Structuring complex content into clear visual hierarchies

  • Developing reusable publication templates

  • Working with policy authors to improve readability

  • Applying brand governance across long-form publications

  • Producing accessible, publication-ready artwork

Brief: Develop a campaign brochure from a stakeholder-provided draft.
My approach: Elevated the initial concept by improving hierarchy, readability and the overall communication of key policy messages.

Brief: Visualise a complex policy issue using a '“leak pipeline” concept and a large volume of statistics for a federal parliamentary audience.

My approach: Rather than illustrating the brief literally, I restructured the information into a clearer visual journey, simplifying complex data and making key insights easier for time-poor parliamentarians to scan and understand.

Brief: Create an infographic to communicate research findings for senior leaders presenting to external audiences.
My approach: Transformed a collection of statistics into a cohesive visual narrative, improving clarity, comparison and readability while supporting key advocacy messages.
